In the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for Youth Affairs, Mr. Fahmi Badawi, and under the auspices of Al-Imad Trading Corporation; The Syndicate of Engineers of the Governorate, in cooperation and partnership with the Yemeni Economic Corporation, launched today a specialized training course in the field of designing, installing and maintaining solar energy systems.

The Assistant Undersecretary of the Governorate for Youth Affairs praised this initiative, stressing the importance of qualifying technical cadres in the solar energy sector, praising the efforts made by the Engineers Syndicate in Hadramout and supporters to develop the capabilities of local engineers in the field of renewable energy.

For his part, the Deputy Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation, Financial Director, Brigadier General / Abdul Karim Muhammad, stressed the importance of qualifying the technical cadres necessary for the solar energy sector in the governorate and Yemen, expressing that the Economic Corporation supports such courses, which are considered one of the important steps to establish the foundations of the renewable energy sector and expand its scope across the country.

The inauguration was attended by the Director General of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office, Dr. Salem Bajaber, the Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr. Ahmed Badrous, and the Director of the Office of the Director General of the Economic Corporation, Colonel Mohammed Alawi.
