The Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation inaugurates the Holy Month Exhibition in Marib Governorate

The Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation, Brigadier General Sami Al-Saeedi, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Abd Rabbo Moftah, and the Head of the Logistics Support Authority at the Ministry of Defense, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, inaugurated today the Holy Month Exhibition in Marib Governorate, under the slogan "The economic balance in the country between the public and private sectors."
Brigadier General Al-Saeedi, Undersecretary Muftah, and Major General Al-Faqih, and with them the Director General of Security and Police in Marib Governorate, Brigadier General Yahya Ali Hamid, and the commander of the military police in the governorate, Brigadier General Naji Munif, all toured the corners and sections of the exhibition, getting acquainted with the level of discounts in the corner of the economic institution, and the offers made by merchants In their pillars, and the level of competition in discounts, to provide the lowest prices in order to enable citizens to purchase their basic needs and requirements.
Brigadier General Al-Saeedi stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Economic Corporation to make Marib governorate among the governorates that will host the exhibitions of the Holy Month, given the large numbers of displaced people in the governorate, who were displaced by the Houthi militia war against the legitimate government, pointing out that the exhibitions were launched to sell basic materials at reduced prices in Marib. And the liberated governorates comes within the framework of the Economic Corporation’s plan within the framework of expanding the exhibitions that it holds to include all governorates, after the success of the Ramadan exhibition in the city of Mukalla in 2021, and the success of the Mukalla and Shabwa exhibitions last year.
The Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, who gave direct directions for holding exhibitions of the Holy Month in the liberated governorates. And to the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Ashwal, for his cooperation with the Economic Corporation for the success of the joint business between the two sides, and he also expressed his thanks to the local authorities in the governorates, as well as the chambers of commerce that participated through merchants in the exhibitions of the holy month.
For his part, the deputy governor of Marib praised the efforts of the leadership of the economic institution and its tangible role in resuming its economic activity to serve the citizens in Marib, especially the segment of the displaced who are still flocking to the governorate due to the situation of the Houthi war supported by the Iranian regime..noting that the establishment of such exhibitions will contribute to Alleviating the burdens of citizens, and will enable them to purchase their basic needs under one roof and at reduced prices that take into account their economic and living conditions and conditions.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition organized by the Yemeni Economic Corporation, under the auspices of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the supervision of the local authority in Marib Governorate represented by a member of the Presidential Leadership Council Sheikh Sultan Al-Arada, and in coordination with the office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Marib Chamber of Commerce, continues until the end of the month of Sha’ban The exhibition presents offers from the economic institution, companies and commercial establishments for basic and consumable materials at discounted and competitive prices.
